Job Specifications: To manage and support SQL, NoSQL and other databases. Database setup, maintenance, indexing, hardening, backup, disaster setup, patch deployment and performance tuning.

• SQL Server and database setup
• Security and high availability management

• Daily, weekly and monthly maintenance
• Installations / upgrades / patching
• Report analysis
Technical Skills:
• SQL, indexing, maintenance, DB security, DB performance, PowerShell scripting, query optimization
Preferred Skills:
• 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
• 4 years of experience with performance tuning and optimization (PTO)
• 2 years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models
• 4 years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• 3 years of experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelors or Masters degree (B Tech/ BCA/ MCA or equivalent)
• MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certification will be a plus
